The Links, Incorporated is one of the oldest and largest not-for-profit volunteer service organizations in the nation. Established in 1946, our organization is comprised of more than 17,000 professional women of color in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

The outstanding programming of The Links, Incorporated has five facets which include Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services and Health and Human Services.
The Links, Incorporated is actively involved in encouraging appreciation of and support for cultural enrichment and the Arts.
The Health and Human Services facet is committed to promoting academic achievement, economic independence, political empowerment and healthy lifestyles
Services to Youth has been a major focus of The Links, Incorporated for 60 years.
The International Trends and Services facet develops a greater awareness of international issues and multicultural events by personal involvement, commitment, and enrichment of global concerns.
The National Trends and Services Facet operates with the vision of transforming lives by reducing barriers to resources through advocacy, education, and service.
